Picacho Peak Camp #1

Picacho Peak Camp #1, Department of the Southwest, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, is the original Camp-At-Large in Arizona. It takes its name from the only Civil War battle fought in Arizona, at Picacho Pass, Pinal County, on April 15, 1862.

Picacho Peak Camp #1 is based in Phoenix and usually meets quarterly at noon on Saturdays at Boulders on Southern, 1010 W Southern Ave, Mesa at 12PM. See the calendar on our home page for the meeting schedule.

All persons interested in the Civil War are invited to attend. Each meeting features a presentation by one of our members or an invited guest, on a topic related to the Civil War.
